"Barry"

Biography:

A most perplexing specimen, Barry is the self given name to an enterprising interstellar traveler hailing from a planet in a system referred to as "Sol", where each year does indeed coincidentally last a year. Little is known of his life due to him hailing from a completely foreign culture, except for his work in the interstellar trading industry. Gaining immense wealth from trading spices and other commodities, Barry embarked on a journey across the galaxy to seek out rarer substances that wouldn't normally be found in his home system. According to Barry, the timeline of his voyage has occurred as follows:

• Barry left Sol in a private fleet of four vessels, visiting a number of systems along the southern border of his union in the stars

• Barry visited Alacore, before losing a ship to a sudden, unusually powerful storm from the Divide, causing him to make an emergency stop on a rogue planet possessing "copious amounts of hydrogen"

• Soon afterwards, Barry continued up to Hyperbrasil to purchase an array of lobsters and braved the Gap to MG, where on-board soylent dispensers failed and the crew was forced to consume said lobsters.

• Barry eventually reached Sol once again, and decided to make a second loop around the galaxy due to the fact that the expedition lost or consumed most of the rare goods they had attained. The captains of two of the three remaining ships in the expedition quit.

• With only one vessel remaining, Barry visited "Binnia" to stock up on fuel and accidentally bypassed Alacore, having been sent off-course by a second, weaker storm from the Divide.

• Barry reached the Alto Mantle system, believing it to be a colony of Alacore until noticing the Thresher population. 

• Barry hired Dividiean mercenaries to guard his ship during its voyage to Thylobeia in Neopolis, where he learned to speak the Gerg language. Barry soon went off to the Cisplatine system in Kyrnomacek under the protection of the same mercenaries.

• Due to low fuel, Barry stopped off at Seimoria to stay for a week. There, his crew (namely his musicians) mutinied and left without Barry, who is currently being apprehended by local law enforcement after assaulting a guard with a stylized liquid container. 

Barry's ship was last detected heading to the Dyron system, though no attempt to redirect it to a safer region or to reclaim it on Barry's behalf has been made yet. It is estimated that the ship will stop off at Nucklebesia for refueling before continuing to Dyron. The safety of the ship once it exits the system will be unknown, unless the crew hires mercenaries or requests an escort.
