Strange Commodity in Protection #432 "Apophis"

Biography:

There exists nearly no information on this being, due to its relatively recent discovery. The few, academically unreliable reports that do exist on Apophis either claim or imply all of the following:

• Apophis is responsible for the disappearance of numerous star systems between 2950 and 4679, supposedly via consumption of the host star.

• Apophis is unaffiliated with any known religious pantheon.

• Apophis is between 20 and 70 solar masses in weight and about half a solar length from head to tail

• Apophis has flip-flop communication service, but only answers to a select few individuals

• Apophis can project human-sized avatars to communicate with humanoid life forms or interact with smaller objects

• Apophis is able to consume nearly any object smaller than three solar masses, with exceptions for objects of insufficient radiant temperature (as noted in Incident 372)

• Apophis has been in conflict with the Hagbeadi and possibly the Marrites on at least a few occasions, although the latter claim is disputed

Any and all activity related to Apophis is to be reported to either the Department of Defense or the Strange Commodity Protection Agency immediately. Recreations of the Jell Shell are currently in production to combat this being in the future.
