Fungal Infection: Spore completely replaces the vanilla Minecraft music with custom tracks more fitting for the mod. Different music will play depending on what's happening in the player's world. There's currently one album with thirty six songs in-game.

Trivia

When porting the music to a different version of the mod, the mod creator thought everything broke and spent 2 hours struggling to fix it, only to realize his Minecraft music volume was set to 0.
'Bicenntenial' and 'Start Anew' are the only songs to contain the 'Once Here' motif.
'Nourishment' contains backwards, spoken dialogue.
'Roads Once Travelled' uses the British spelling of 'Traveled'. SyrCrypt was going to make up some philosophical thing about the two L's representing the parallel roads that we once travelled along, but he truly just didn't care to remove an L.
All dissonent whispers, infected breathing, and deep vocal drones were all from SyrCrypt's voice pitched up or down where needed. No non-spore samples were used when making sounds.
'Spore Burst' uses the actual "spore_burst" sound file at different pitches .
All aspects of 'Synaptic Relapse' are made from SyrCrypt's voice with a constant dronescape in the back.
'They Listen' contains a faded, distorted version of C418's "Wet Hands".
In 'Something Once Great', there are two vocal tracks that actually say something. One of the vocal tracks is the 'Schwarmgeist Chant' and the other one has the phrases “Harby” and “Nunny” weaved inside it. There are too many whisper tracks on top of each other that it’s very unlikely anyone will actually hear them normally.
SyrCrypt overstrained his voice at one point while making a lot of the songs.
