Hindenburgs are blimp-like Air Calamities. They primarily utilize ranged attacks but are capable of melee.
Spawning
Has a ~38.3% chance to spawn from a Womb (created from a Parent Signal that occurred at or above Y=90) when it reaches 100 biomass or is killed at Age 3.
Has an ~11.1% chance to spawn from a Womb when it reaches 100 biomass (or is killed at Age 3) and the 30% incorrect spawn roll hits (~3.3% chance overall).
Unique Behavior
Hindenburgs are capable of flight. When not having a target, a Hindenburg will prefer to hover idle just above the ground. When a Hindenburg does have a target, he typically prefers to stay relatively high and at a distance while launching Tumors. If a Hindenburg and his target get within 4 blocks of each other, the Hindenburg will fly higher and slowly perpetually fly in a circular motion around his target for as long as he has that target. If a Hindenburg switches to melee (when his current target is gliding/flying), he will continually fly towards them and attempt to dogfight with them.
Hindenburgs, when having a target, will launch 7 to 10 custom Tumors every 4 seconds towards their target. When launching, Hindenburgs will be slightly propelled in the direction they shot in. These custom Tumors explode with a blast strength of 2 and place area effect clouds that last for 10 seconds and can either be Mycelium Infection II, Corrosion II, Wither II, Weakness II, Poison II, or Blindness II, all for 30 seconds .
Hindenburgs are capable of dropping large bombs called Tumoroid Nukes. Each nuke takes 2 minutes to arm. A Hindenburg will only drop his nuke (assuming it's armed) if his current target is below him within 10 blocks on the X axis and 10 blocks on the Z axis, in which the nuke will be dropped. Tumoroid Nukes take 4 seconds to explode once deployed and explode with a blast strength of 16 (see below for more info).
If a Hindenburg's current target is gliding/flying with an Elytra, the Hindenburg will switch to attempting to deal melee damage instead of launching Tumors. This is the only time when Hindenburgs will actively attempt to deal melee damage. Otherwise, it's possible for a Hindenburg to deal melee damage if a target-able entity gets within his melee range normally.
Hindenburgs have numerous weak points that take extra damage. The Hindenburg's side cannons take x3.2 damage, the Hindenburg's mouth takes x2.7 damage, and the front and back of the Hindenburg take x1.4 damage.
Hindenburgs are capable of performing Spore Bursts (explained in-depth on the Calamities page). The positive effects they'll grant to allies is Jump Boost I, Slow Falling I, and Resistance II, all for 30 seconds. The negative effects they'll give to targets is Mycelium Infection II, Nausea II, and Slowness II, all for 30 seconds.
Hindenburgs have three possible custom death messages, being "<player> was eaten by Hindenburg", "<player> was crushed by Hindenburg", and "<player> was dismantled by Hindenburg".
During the month of December, Hindenburgs will gain their 'Star Light' costume. They appear to have have Christmas lights wrapped around their bodies and a golden star floating above them. This is purely cosmetic.
Adaptation
If a Hindenburg has killed at least 50 entities and dropped at least 5 Tumoroid Nukes in his lifetime, he'll gain his Overclocked Adaptation.
Overclocked Hindenburgs have a twice as fast Tumor fire rate (every 2 seconds) and Tumoroid Nuke arming speed (1 minute). All non-Spore mobs within an 8 block range of an Overclocked Hindenburg will be set on fire. Tumoroid Nukes dropped by Overclocked Hindenburgs will have a fiery crater. Overclocked Hindenburgs also have a special Body Heat value (in regards to Frostbite) compared to other Calamities, that being 6.
Behavior
Hindenburgs are hostile to most non-Spore mobs, with the exceptions being Animals and Fish (unless Should attack Animals is enabled via the Config) and mobs included in the Mobs Not Targeted blacklist within the Config.
Hindenburgs inflict Mycelium Infection II for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of 5 or lower.
Hindenburgs are immune to negative effects that are not above amplifier I.
Cannot ride Boats.
Can perform short dashes in liquids to pursue a target. However, since they are always flying, this mechanic is never utilized by them.
Hindenburgs are influenced by Parent Objectives and Redirection.
Hindenburgs can become Rooted.
Hindenburgs can summon Scents in combat (different from Spore Bursts).
When below half health, Hindenburgs can summon Vigils in combat.
Can communicate targets and Search Positions with other Spore Mobs, very similarly to how Linked Mobs do.
Upon death, Hindenburgs place a variety of Biomass Blocks and Human Remains where they died, as well as Corpse Pieces.
Hindenburgs can be affected by the Womb Crafting System.
Can fall from up to 28 blocks before taking fall damage. However, since they are always flying, this mechanic is never utilized by them.
Hindenburgs have 1.0 knockback resistance, meaning they can't be knocked back by attacks.
The melee attack of Hindenburgs deals 3 knockback.
Melee attacks of Hindenburgs have an AOE.
Hindenburgs have a step up height of 1.5, meaning they don't have to jump to go up blocks that are 1.5 blocks tall. However, since they are always flying, this mechanic is never utilized by them.
Able to utilize Kill Points to grant themselves buffs.
Hindenburgs granting themselves Regeneration with Kill Points will receive it for 30 seconds. If below 50% health, it'll be Regeneration II as well.
Present a weakness to the cold.
Hindenburgs are not influenced by Horde Mentality; they exist as commanders. However, Infected and Evolved will attempt to pair up with them.
Are not affected by Vanilla Despawning.
In regards to Frostbite, have a Body Heat of 5 and Enum Percentage of 2.5% (excluding Overclocked Hindenburgs).

Lore
One of the early hosts used in the construction of some of the first few Proto Hiveminds likely has memories of the horrific Hindenburg disaster (either having seen it in person, having lost someone to it, or simply having watched a documentary). Using those memories, the Proto Hivemind sought to construct a Calamity that would take advantage of the fear of such accidents.
All Calamities are created to resemble a specific fear of humans in order to make them more intimidating. The Hindenburg is meant to resemble the fear of disasters, such as the Hindenburg disaster.

Tumoroid Nukes, also known as Tumoroid Bombs or Tumoral Nukes, are temporary explosives that belong in the Utility Abnormal tier.
Spawning
Deployed by a Hindenburg once its 2 minute arming timer (1 minute for Overclocked Hindenburgs) is finished and the Hindenburg's target is below him within 10 blocks on the X axis and 10 blocks on the Z axis.
Unique Behavior
Unlike most Spore Mobs, Tumoroid Nukes are passive; they do not attack target-able entities.
Tumoroid Nukes are immune to all damage types.
When spawned naturally by a Hindenburg, Tumoroid Nukes will take 4 seconds to explode. If a Tumoroid Nuke is summoned via other means (e.g. commands), it will explode instantly. Tumoroid Nukes explode with with a blast strength of 16. When summoned by an Overclocked Hindenburg, a Tumoroid Nuke's crater will be fiery.
If a Tumoroid Nuke falls from at least 4 blocks, upon landing, it will break any blocks in a 1 block range with a hardness of 2 or lower.
Tumoroid Nukes are stationary; immobile. Though, they are not rooted to the ground like Organoids are.
Variants
Tumoroid Nukes have a 20% chance to spawn as one of their one Variant (excluding normal Tumoroid Nukes), with an overall 20% chance per Variant.
The Tumoroid Nuke's Bunker Buster Variant appears the same as regular Tumoroid Nukes. It has half the blast strength (8) but digs 3 times as deep.
Behavior
Are affected by Vanilla Despawning.

Trivia
The Hindenburg is a suggested mob, coming from the mind of @enderbro98 in the Spore Asylum Discord server.
The name, appearance, and functionality of the Hindenburg is based on the LZ 129 Hindenburg.
The Hindenburg uses he/him pronouns and is gay.
Hindenburgs were voted as the Mob with the worse model and texture in a poll in the Discord server.
Hidden inside of the Hindenburg's model is a white texture with the text "DR. PILOT WAS HERE". Dr. Pilot is the person who modeled and textured the Hindenburg. This text is viewable when going inside of the Hindenburg.
On the original texture of the Hindenburg, the front three segments on the frame had the wrong texture, instead boasting a more bone-like texture, a remnant from the original texture of the entire frame. It was left unchanged for a while before it was fixed.
The Hindenburg's flight logic code is reused from the Licker boss fight featured in the Spore addon Fungal Infection: Spore; Unhinged. The addon creator had made a custom AI goal that made the Licker orbit the target, and the Fungal Infection: Spore creator thought it was cool, so the addon creator gave him the vector logic, and he decided to give it to the Hindenburg.
During early development, the Hindenburg tended to refuse to fly and instead preferred to chase after targets and bite them.
There was a scrapped Adaptation for the Hindenburg called the 'Polluted Hindenburg' that would've largely increased the durations and amplifiers of all effects the Hindenburg applies. The idea behind it was air pollution. It was scrapped for being too boring and replaced by the Overclocked Hindenburg.
Hidden inside of the Overclocked Hindenburg's model is a picture of Markiplier. This image is viewable when going inside of the Hindenburg.
The Tumoroid Nuke's parent bone in BlockBench is named "TheFuckingNuke".
The term 'tumoroid' is defined as "a patient-derived 3D cancer model".
The name of the Tumoroid Nuke's model in BlockBench refers to it as 'tumoral' instead of 'tumoroid'.
The term 'tumoral' is defined as "of, relating to, or constituting a tumor".
The model of the Tumoroid Nuke, when originally created, was too large, but is scaled down in-game with code.
