C.D.U. (Cryogenic Dispensing Unit)
Description:
Cryogenic Dispensing Unit
Ice Canister
Usage:
When a C.D.U. is right clicked by a player with an Ice Canister in-hand, it'll activate. While active, C.D.U.s will not accept additional Ice Canisters if the Ice Canister's entire duration is unable to be added without going over the C.D.U.'s maximum run time (that being 10 minutes). 1 Ice Canister allows a C.D.U. to run for 10 minutes (the remaining ticks can be viewed by right clicking a C.D.U., shown as "Current fuel [X]/12000", or via its tooltip in the player inventory). An active C.D.U. will constantly produce snow particles and every 10 seconds in a 20 block radius (41x41x41 block cubical area total):
Convert random Infested Blocks (including vanilla Mycelium) within its radius into their un-Infested form, Biomass Blocks (excluding Organite Blocks) into Freeze Burned Biomass, and Human Remains into Frozen Remains.
Destroy random Foliage Blocks, Organite Blocks, and Outpost Watchers within its radius.
Place Snow at random applicable locations within its radius.
Apply Frostbite I for 1 minute to all applicable targets within its radius. The amplifier increases by 1 for the target per instance of receiving the Effect (assuming it already has Frostbite); this has no cap.
Active C.D.U.s can be clogged by Calamities when performing Spore Bursts and Proto Hiveminds and Hivetumors when puffing. Clogged C.D.U.s no longer function as normal and their active time remaining will be paused. To fix a clogged C.D.U., it must be broken and placed back down.
When broken and dropped as an item, a C.D.U. will retain how much fuel (active time) it had remaining. After being placed back down, it will resume where it left off.
When a placed C.D.U. is right clicked by a player holding shift, a menu will appear on their screen with a tutorial on how to use the C.D.U.
C.D.U.s are immune to being destroyed by Spore Mobs (excluding Specters, which target and destroy C.D.U.s), like all Lab Blocks.
Obtaining:
Crafted with 4 Compound Plates, 3 Iron Ingots, 1 Iron Trapdoor, and 1 Dispenser to produce 1 C.D.U.
Naturally generated in Blue Iceberg Mines and Permafrost Mining Outposts.

Incubator
Usage:
When an Incubator is right clicked by a player with Biomass in-hand, it'll become active. Biomass adds 250 'biomass points' to an Incubator's internal storage. Incubators can hold up to 1,000 biomass points (4 Biomass Items) at maximum capacity (the remaining biomass points can be viewed via its tooltip in the player inventory). While active, Incubators will not accept additional Biomass if the Biomass' biomass points are unable to be added without going over the Incubator's maximum biomass point capacity. Active Incubators can be right clicked by a player with a Spore Weapon or Armor piece in-hand, which will put the Item in the Incubator. An Incubator can only hold 1 Item at a time. Items (that have less than 100% durability), per tick inside an active Incubator, will have their current durability increased by 1, while the Incubator's biomass is decreased by 1. Incubators with an Item inside can be right clicked with an empty hand to retrieve the Item.
When broken and dropped as an item, an Incubator will retain how much biomass it had remaining. After being placed back down, it will still have its biomass.
When a placed Incubator is right clicked by a player holding shift, a menu will appear on their screen with a tutorial on how to use the Incubator.
Incubators are immune to being destroyed by Spore Mobs, like all Lab Blocks.
Obtaining:
Crafted with 3 Iron Ingots, 3 Redstone Dust, 2 Circuit Boards, and 1 B.C.U. to produce 1 Incubator.
Naturally generated in Cell Towers, Hospitals, Asylums, and Prisons.
Tool: Pickaxe

Surgery Table
Usage:
Has a 4x4 crafting grid that gives access to crafting recipes for Spore Weapons, Armor, and certain Craftable Parts. Also has slots for a 'stitching material' and 3 Agents. A Stitching material is required for all Surgery Table recipes, and can be either String, Nerves or Tendons. Agents are optional additions that can provide buffs to any Weapons and Armor a player crafts.
Has an icon of three pieces of stacked Paper on the right. When clicked, it will open a custom crafting menu that is used exclusively for crafting Living Armor and Living Armor MK2.
Weapons and Armor crafted via a Surgery Table will have a random durability and a 10% chance to have an applicable Mutation (this can be increased by Agents).
Has an icon of a single Paper near the center. When clicked, it will open a menu that contains every crafting recipe the Surgery Table has access to. Additionally, the Surgery Table natively supports Just Enough Items for recipe viewing.
Surgery Tables are immune to being destroyed by Spore Mobs, like all Lab Blocks.
Obtaining:
Crafted with 5 Compound Plates, 1 Crafting Table, 1 Glass Bottle, 1 Iron Sword, and 1 Iron Axe to produce 1 Surgery Table.
Naturally generated in Lodges, Hospitals, Asylums, and Prisons.

Zoaholic
Usage:
When first placed, Zoaholics are virtually useless. When right clicked by a player in this state, the message "Missing required organs" will display on their screen. In order to serve its purpose, a Zoaholic must be given a Cerebrum, Mutated Heart, and 2 Innards (these can be given by right clicking the Zoaholic with the correlating item in-hand; they'll render on the Zoaholic's model as they're added). Once a Zoaholic has the required Items, it'll become operable. When an operable Zoaholic is right clicked by a player with Biomass in-hand, it'll become active. Biomass adds 3,000 'biomass points' to a Zoaholic's internal storage. Zoaholics can hold up to 12,000 biomass points (4 Biomass Items) at maximum capacity (the remaining biomass points can be viewed by right clicking a Zoaholic, shown as "Biomass [X]/12000", or via its tooltip in the player inventory). While active, Zoaholics will not accept additional Biomass if the Biomass' biomass points are unable to be added without going over the Zoaholic's maximum biomass point capacity. An active Zoaholic will produce a constant heartbeat sound, spread Madness I for 2 minutes every 3 seconds to all players in a 16 block radius (33x33x33 block cubical area total), and consume 1 biomass point every tick (meaning at maximum biomass points, a Zoaholic will remain active for 10 minutes). Primarily, an active Zoaholic, when right clicked by a player, will begin a 10 second printing process. Once finished, it will produce a Paper with a custom name providing information. What's written on the Paper depends on what's happening in the current Dimension:
If there are 0 Proto Hiveminds or Calamities in the entire Dimension, the Paper will read "No anomaly detected".
If there is at least 1 Proto Hivemind or Calamity in the Dimension, the nearest applicable Mob is selected and the Paper will read "Anomaly detected at X:[X] Z:[Z]". X is the estimated X coordinate of the Mob while Z is the estimated Z coordinate (note that a Y coordinate is not provided). These coordinates can be up to 50 blocks off from the Mob's true location, making their accuracy questionable.
When an anomaly is detected, there's a 20% chance the Zoaholic can 'backfire', creating a Signal (which will reveal the player's location to the nearest Proto Hivemind). The Paper will read "The anomaly has found you..." when this occurs.
When broken and dropped as an item, a Zoaholic will retain its given Items and how much biomass it had remaining. After being placed back down, it will still have its Items and biomass.
When a placed Zoaholic is right clicked by a player holding shift, a menu will appear on their screen with a tutorial on how to use the Zoaholic.
Zoaholics are immune to being destroyed by Spore Mobs, like all Lab Blocks.
Obtaining:
Crafted with 5 Iron Ingots, 2 Circuit Boards, 1 BCU, and 1 Brain Remnants to produce 1 Zoaholic.
