Delusioners belong in the Organoid tier.
Spawning
Spawned by a Proto Hivemind when it detects a threat.
Unique Behavior
The Delusioner has four spells at its disposal, and there are two parameters that decide which spell is used. First, if there are any allies nearby (more than 3 in a 4.5 block horizontally and 5.5 block vertically area around the Delusioner.) Second, the distance from the target (if it is within ~11.8 blocks or beyond that.)
If there are nearby allies and target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its teleportation spell.
Its teleportation spell will teleport all allies in a 16.5 block horizontally and 17.5 block vertically area within 16 blocks of its target.
If there are nearby allies and target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its invisibility spell.
Its invisibility spell will give all allies in a 16.5 block horizontally and 17.5 block vertically area invisibility for 30 seconds.
If there are no nearby allies and target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its arrows spell.
Its arrows spell summons 3 - 7 tipped fire arrows with Mycelium Infection for 30 seconds at a random position 3 blocks above the target's head, aimed towards the target.
If there are no nearby allies and target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, it will summon Hallucinations.
It will summon 2 - 5 Hallucinations on the Delusioner that belong to no one (meaning all players can see them.) Their target will be set to the Delusioner's target.
The Delusioner has one variant, with a 50% chance per variant including the regular Delusioner.
The Enchanter Delusioner has a set of four unique spells that it will use instead of the regular ones.
If there are nearby allies and target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its endurance spell.
It looks for any Spore mobs in a 16.5 block horizontally and 17.5 block vertically area. If they can wear armor (Infected Adventurers, Nuckelavees, and Protectors), it will enchant their boots with either Feature Falling, Depth Strider, or Swift Sneak at max level. If the nearby allies can't wear armor, it will instead give them Speed for 10 minutes with a random amplifier between 1 - 3 with the particles hidden.
If there are nearby allies and target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its protection spell.
It looks for any Spore mobs in a 16.5 block horizontally and 17.5 block vertically area. If they can wear armor (Infected Adventurers, Nuckelavees, and Protectors), it will enchant all of their armor with either Protection, Projectile Protection, Blast Protection, or Fire Protection at max level. If the nearby allies can't wear armor, it will instead give them Resistance for 5 minutes with a random amplifier between 1 - 2 with the particles hidden.
If there are no nearby allies and target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its lightning spell.
It first looks for mobs that can be struck by lightning (Creepers, Villagers, Pigs, etc.) within a 16x16x16 cube around the target. If it finds any, it will strike them with lightning. If it finds none, it will summon a lightning bolt close to the target.
If there are no nearby allies and target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, it will cast its fireballs spell.
It shoots 1 - 3 small fireballs at its target.

Lore
Delusioners are the product of illusioners, who kept avoided the spore with their spells. So, when the spore does catch them, in spite, they completely rip them apart and put them back together. The illusioners that this happens to are still conscious. Because of this reason, it is why there is no 'Infected Illusioner' mob.
The spells that Enchanter Delusioner variants can cast are based on the properties of Minecraft enchantments. Its endurance and protection spells are based on an Enchanting Table's ability to enchant equipment. Its lightning spell is based on the Channeling enchantment. Its fireballs spell is based on the Fire Aspect and Flame enchantments.

Trivia
In one the Delusioner's ambients, it says "help me" very slowly within its growl.
Many people mistook the original Delusioner texture for a Wandering Trader Organoid, so it was updated to better fit with the Illusioner's cloak.
Another possible name for the Delusioner was 'Disillusioner'.
Enchanter Delusioner variants are inspired by and share a remarkably similar design to Enchanters from Minecraft Dungeons.
The Enchanting Table design feature of the Enchanter Delusioner variant was briefly talked about to be its own Infested Enchanting Table block, but it was ultimately kept exclusive to the variant.
The Enchanter Delusioner variant gives the Swift Sneak enchantment to the boots of allies when casting its endurance spell, despite the enchantment being for leggings, not boots. Not the mention mobs can't utilize Swift Sneak at all. This was an oversight on the mod creator's part.
