Having hundreds of ideas can be just as frustrating as having none. So how do you get from a hundred to a few?

When the wall, whiteboard, table or floor is full of sticky notes with raw ideas, you will need to get some kind of overview before you move along. A couple of tools for that are shown below - but feel free to use any method that seems helpful in deciding which ideas to develop further.

In Step 3 you organize your ideas from Step 2 and pick a few ideas from - typically 3-5 - that you want to examine deeper in step 4.
