Either as a product for sale to their customers or as a solution to be implemented and used internally in their organisation.

Why

If your innovation is supposed to be adopted and implemented by an existing company or organisation (project owner), it is not enough that your innovation is a great improvement for end users.

The project owner has to see it as valuable for the company or organisation as a whole - and it will probably have to fit into an existing strategy.

When

Develop a project owner profile whenever your innovation is something that should be implemented in an existing organisation.

Whether it is a product development project for a new product for sale or whether it is a solution to be developed and implemented internally in the company.

Remember that you may need to develop multiple profiles if you have to convince multiple stakeholders in the organisation. Production, sales and finance may have different priorities.
