The history of the Omega starts with the group of ships like it called The Flotilla. The Flotilla are a group of specialized ships designed for long term survival in space. Their main goals are to, at one point, transport dragon kind to their origin planet.
The creation of these ships were rife with struggles, many failures, and many deaths. Ships went through many iterations but eventually with their first successful launch into space in 1725 progress became extremely rapid. Eventually ten flag ships which included The Omega, were built. The Omega in particular is the most populated.
Some debate that the reason Dreu-kin were created, was because of their useful abilities of being smaller, and having hands. Being better at handling small things compared to their larger bretherin allowed technology to shrink to a point where limits of those technologies were pushed aside and allowed to be sleeker and more refined. This and the fact that save for some, Dreu-kin were also given comparatively smaller homes because of their compactness, a lot of them receiving single room homes.
The Omega, especially so close to Drarus' rule, is the main home for most of the Dreu-kin population. Being the lead ship of the Flotilla, this colony is particularly active and is the center of most future tech, continuing the advances that New Atlantis was known for previously.
The culture is generally very friendly and accepting. There is a strong sense of safety being here, without any sense of oppression. There is also a relatively strong military presence. It is also home to a couple of legendary dragons, Aturis and Venuit. They are well regarded individuals that are like demi-gods, you can speak to.
