The Lung (Long) is the most popularly known dragon and is the native dragon to China. The Lung have had varied depictions before it was settled on the common image seen today. They are known as symbols of vitality and life, not unlike the cousin the Ryu, they are also associated with water, but they are also known for weather. They are inherently magical, known for powers closer to gods, capable of turning invisible, changing into humans, etc. Being such beings means that they do not care as much for material things and instead prefer things such as knowledge and wisdom, it is said this reflects in their whiskers.
The legends that surround the Lung are commonly embellished rumors made by humans and Lungs letting it happen, often they are more grounded in reality, but still reflect their legends by the way they carry themselves by reading or studying to expand their wisdom. They are smart, are more easily friendly, and are more sociable with human beings than most. However some of the eldest tout that the Eastern dragon is not something that is always legendary, but one can be born into this legend.
