Apsises are serpents found in medieval European mythology, the name 'apsis' comes from the word serpent and is commonly associated with the Viper snake. They are commonly physically depicted as either being a small two legged serpent with wings, or quadruped dragons with wings. They are also best known for being poisonous, like the Basilisk, they can be instantly fatal if one is bitten by them or just by physical contact. They are often known for being evil in their mythos and stubborn.
Despite being deadly to the touch, they have issues of being easily distracted or entranced by music. Old depictions show these serpents clamping their ears to try and stop the music, being overwhelmed easily.
Being poisonous creatures, they are often wearing something to prevent accidental contact with others. In addition, because of the common place of musical sounds, they wear are always seen in public wearing sound muffling equipment over their hearing. With these editions, they become safer and more approachable.
