Known for very infamous stunts involving the hunting, capture and killing of dragons as well as taking everything they own. They wear the hides of fallen dragons, mock them in their own tongue. As much as they might sound like great paladins of virtue, and especially in the western parts of the world, to dragons they are mortal enemies. Originally founded in early Medieval times during times when dragons attacking castle strong holds was most common place. It is believed that they were the first to slay a dragon, since then, their techniques for protecting strong holds and villages spread across Europe. Thus their own war against the dragons spread across several generations, and essentially were the catalyst that pushed dragons away. Despite modern times, they still hang on to very old traditions, and despite the days of castles and swords long gone, they still linger on; Their goals extending to hunting down and killing the rest of the dragons.
Their focus and countermeasures are primarily against dragons in many forms. While they are not strong individually, their group tactics and strong head planning make for a force that has continued to be trouble even for the more technological edge of dragons that are forced into involvement with them.
To dragons, where and how these humans are raised is a complete mystery. As the Arthurian Knights are only seen as adults of either gender. They are however reasoned to not be seen or live in normal public spaces, at least, while they are practicing their arts of dragon slaying.
Knight: The knight in shining armor, they are the front line soldier that fight the dragon head on. They use weapons specialized in piercing a dragon's defenses, and are the offensive archetype. They are most practiced in swords and shields, and in uncommon instances claymores.
Bishop: Bishops are practiced in magic. They are the least protected, but with others supporting, a Bishop will use their expertise to make the most effective work against dragons. Alone they are weakest, with a team they are a force multiplier and become quickly dangerous.
Rook: Defensive guards, they protect the Knights and the Bishops during confrontation. They have special armor made from dragons that makes their defenses very strong against dragon's natural elemental abilities. Thick and sturdy, they are difficult to move past, or brute force. They can even provide light defensive magic to allies.
Pawn: Used for scouting and provide information before engagement, or even light infantry tactics. They tend to be the most poorly equipped and the easiest to fight.
