To the Council of Grognards,
This is a summary of our expedition to further explore the subterranean structure near the large seawall East of Rockport.
The following Initiates participated in this exploration/mapping mission: Harry, Chillax, Yna, Novad, and Wenzan.
While traveling to the structure, we were attacked by three swarms of crows. This occurred in the same location as a previous encounter with the giant worm like creature. We were able to drive off the swarms after killing a significant number of crows. Hundreds of crows still remained.
Once we arrived at the entrance to the structure, we encountered eight giant frogs. These frogs were the same size as humans. We were able to defeat all of the frogs. We ate some of the frogs for dinner that evening. The frogs made for an excellent meal. A large group of giant water bugs flew to the stream flowing from the structure and to the pond near the wall that evening. We think that these bugs drew the frogs to the location as a food source.
The next morning we explored and fully mapped the structure. The structure is laid out in a symmetrical fashion with regards to the center tunnel. Neither water wheel was operational. We have not determined how to fix the water wheels yet. So we are not certain for their purpose yet. The stone door on the west side corridor was open so we discovered a central room and how to open and close the stone doors. The central room has two pipes that are centered on the northern wall. The pipes are about six feet across. There was air flowing into the pipes and fresh water flowing out of the pipes onto the floor and down into a hole in the floor. The water flowed down to a tunnel drain that drained to the circular room of the four way intersection with the exit tunnel to the south. The east and west tunnels had water flowing to the circular room of the four way intersection. This will be more clear when you look at the map I have provided. The water in the tunnels is fresh and clear until it meets the circular room of the four way intersection. This is where the small octopi are living. The water flowing south from the circular pool/room has the thick film and sheen to it. We were not able to catch any of the octopi creatures for further study.
The pipes leading into the central room behind the stone doors have climbing rungs in them to climb down toward the source of water and location of the flowing air into the pipes. We did not have time during this expedition to climb down these pipes to explore. Other than these two pipes, the subterranean structure has been fully explored and mapped.
We encountered nothing out of the ordinary when we returned to Rockport.
Here ends the summary of this five day mapping mission.

Here is a map of the structure. I did not draw out to the water wheels. It is simply a fifteen wide passage from the water wheels to the area shown. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the East and a 10 minute walk to the West to reach the water wheels.
