A uniquely organized sandbox campaign that is easy to work into your schedule. You only schedule for the sessions you can fit in. No longer are you letting your regular gaming group down when you miss a session. Seats are filled from a local community of players which makes it easy to balance priorities. The DM has created a rich world of traditional tropes woven together with other thematic elements along with unexpected twists and turns that make for a unique experience. The players have a great deal of room to contribute and collaborate on building the sandbox one adventure at a time.

This site is continuously being updated with both current adventure summaries and background information which comes from nearly 30 years of experience.

What is a "West Marches" style Campaign?

Without going into too much detail better covered in other places, this campaign will be player driven and takes place in a sandbox setting of our creation.

Steps for scheduling a session.

1. Join our Google+ community to join in on all forms of communication. Use information from Tavern Talk, Adventure Summaries recorded in the Guild Chronicles , Obituaries, or the Character's Campaign Map that peek your interest. As the Dungeon Master, I will be sowing in easter eggs and subtle clues that may lead to deeper plot lines, hidden locations that will be exciting and rewarding.
2. Check the DM's schedule and announce your intention to the guild by post that you wish to form a party for a given available slot targeting chosen location.
3. Negotiate with the guild to achieve a party size of 4 to 6 players and have one player committed to writing the adventure summary and one committed to mapping.
4. Reserve session time with the DM a minimum of two days in advance. More time is better.
5. Have planning and party preparation work completed before session to maximize table time for adventuring. Do check to make sure every player has a completed character.
6. Double check that everyone knows where and when the session will be taking place.
7. Arrive on time and prepare for a wild ride.
