To the Council of Grognards,
On the first day, Amabel, Manawa, Fennick, Rhys, Elzin, and Rolen decided to travel east from the tower. This took us to the plains, which were rolling lands, not perfectly flat, and did not have a lot to see or do, except for the very colorful flowers. We were encountered by a bulette, which leaped high in the air trying to land on Elzin and Manawa, but they were able to quickly move out of the way. Elzin took out the bulette with a final blow. The next two days were uneventful, so we spent them admiring the flowers. We then ended back at the tower.
This time we decided to travel north of the tower. On the first day, we ended up between two rivers, across from where the River Tribe lived. By the second day, we were in the forest, while it was raining heavily. This would make for a miserable camp, if we could not find somewhere to stay dry. We found a tree that had fallen over and decided to make camp in it. During the late evening, while we were setting up camp, three wolves appeared. Amabel hit one with her bow, but it seemed to do no damage. The wolf did not even flinch or seem hurt. After the wolves were wounded some, they turned into werewolves. Fennick made two of the werewolves laugh, so Amabel pushed them off the tree, making it harder for them to battle. One of the wolfs turned into a human once it was killed. All the armor remained but the human turned to dust. When the second werewolf died, it turned into a human, and you could see it smiling, as if relieve that it was killed. The third werewolf turned into a human but was still alive. He was in a full suit of plate metal, holding a shield, and morning star. He wanted to die if there was no way to keep him from turning back. Manawa did him the favor of killing him. His final words were “under the black obelisk”.
On the third day, we came across a well developed trail going north and south. This is where we found the hobgoblins and Gub-Dub. All of the hobgoblins were marked and Gub-Dub had a serious look on his face. Ten of the hobgoblins stood behind Gub-Dub with baskets. The young are growing fast. All of the hobgoblins had on armor and weapons and spears made of metal. They found these materials in a stone structure, along with some old food and coins. Gub-Dub showed the stone structure, as the hobgoblins marched in unison behind him. The stone structure was a small tower, and in good condition. Right inside the door was stairs going down ending in a lowercase t shape. The room had some armor hanging on racks and some other materials. The HeNalu found the place first and took the materials they needed and wanted, leaving the rest. Gub-Dub and the hobgoblins stay at the pyramids. There is no more River Tribe, because the River and Wolf Tribes have become one with each other. Gub-Dub is now the chief, because no one has seen the actual chief.
