Summary: As soldier power requirements continue grow, it is projected that they will need to carry in excess of 60 lbs of battery to support a 72-hour mission. The purpose of this project is to develop a system that will provide a means of opportunistic power transfer from a vehicle to a conformable battery. The proposed system is designed to be user-friendly, efficient, safe, and lightweight. It will also allow soldiers to maintain operations in a vehicle and continue to draw power from the battery while it is being charged.
