Summary: I analyzed the handling characteristics of four-wheel steering and drive vehicles to determine the tradeoffs and benefits ats variable speeds compared to the traditional two-wheel steering and drive models. This will inform the user of the Agile Ground Robot (AGRO) of when each configuration will yield the most predictability or as we defined it “stability.” This essentially relates input to output, meaning the more user-friendly, or stable, configuration will yield the more direct relationship.
