Summary: After seeing UAV research efforts at the EECS Robotics Research Center (RRC), I noticed that testing sessions were often halted for long periods of time due to crash damage. Soon after, I began development of the Modular UAV Research Platform (MURP) as part of an ME289 independent study. The goal of this project is to design, produce, and test a UAV platform that will improve the durability, adaptability, repairability, and producibility of the current RRC UAV research platform to expedite UAV research efforts at USMA and in the field.
