BMC's Initiatives in Sexual and Reproductive Health Education
BMC's activities in the realm of sexual and reproductive health highlight its firm commitment to equipping its students with vital knowledge. Through its systematic approach, including awareness campaigns, regular check-ups, and collaborations, the institution not only addresses immediate health concerns but also enhances an informed community, aware, and responsible individuals.
BMC continued to emphasize the importance of sexual and reproductive health education in 2024. The college organized events on World AIDS Day in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to raise awareness about sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV, and the importance of regular check-ups. These campaigns emphasized the role of education in reducing stigma and ensuring that students are well-informed about sexual health.
BMC's commitment is not limited to providing information; but extends to support through ensuring regular consultations, check-ups, and guidance through BMC’s team of expert gynecologists. This is important as it not only provide students with the necessary information but also assures them of a reliable and consistent support system.
BMC also hosted initiatives to support premarital screening and healthy marriages in collaboration with social organizations. These events provided resources and guidance for individuals and couples, emphasizing the importance of compatibility, harmony, and the implications of healthy marriages on physical, psychological, and social well-being.
