Nombre común: Flor de chuparrosa, flor de chupa miel (fuera de la zona).

Características generales:

  • Es una especie fanerógama de la familia Acanthaceae.

  • Es originaria de América central y de México.

  • Es un arbusto que alcanza 16-22 dm de altura. Sus tallos son erectos y poco ramificados.
