Ausbildungsvoraussetzungen: (Training entrance requirements)

• Mindestalter 16 Jahre

• Mittlere Reife oder Abitur

• Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Sprache und Schrift

• Ein kurzes Praktikum in der Audiologie (1 -2 Tage)

Ausbildung: (Education)

• Dauer der Ausbildung 2 Jahre

• Beginn alle zwei Jahre am 1. September

• Regelmäßige Weiterbildung, Möglichkeit der Mitarbeit an wissenschaftlichen Studien

• Möglichkeiten in Forschung und Lehre (Vorträge, Vorlesungen)

• Besuch von Kongressen, Konferenzen, Symposien, Universitätskliniken, Kliniken, HNO-Praxen, Praxen für Phoniatrie und Pädaudiologie, Hörakustiker/Pädakustiker, Pädaudiologische Beratungsstellen, Cochlea Implant Zentren, Industrie (Hersteller von Hörsystemen), etc.

[EN] Tasks: Application of various methods and procedures for hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation; Evaluation of the diagnostic results; Adjustment of hearing systems Adjustment of middle ear/inner ear implants; Parental consultations. 

Lectures: anatomy; pathology; physiology; hygiene; Professional and legal knowledge; Introduction scientific. work; ENT; Pediatrics; Phoniatry, pediatric audiology, audiology, acoustics; psychology; neurology; Neuropediatrics; Adolescent and child psychiatry; Pedagogy, education for the hearing impaired; practical audiology; Maxillofacial surgery. 

Possible work areas: University hospitals, clinics; ENT practices, practices for phoniatrics and pediatric audiology; Hearing acoustician/pediatrician; Pediatric audiological advice centers; Cochlear Implant Centers; Industry (manufacturer of hearing systems). 

Training entrance requirements: Minimum age 16 years; Secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma; Good knowledge of spoken and written German; A short internship in audiology (1-2 days). 

Education: Duration of training 2 years; Starts every two years on September 1st. 

Areas of work/further qualification: Regular further training, opportunity to participate in scientific studies; Opportunities in research and teaching (lectures, lectures); Attending congresses, conferences, symposiums, university hospitals, clinics, ENT practices, practices for phoniatrics and pediatric audiology, hearing care professionals/pediatricians, pediatric audiology consultation centers, cochlear implant centers, industry (manufacturers of hearing systems), etc.
