Collaborating for Innovation: Springfield Secondary’s Partnership in Developing ProjecTask
Springfield Secondary School’s Craft & Technology Team partnered with the Classroom of the Future (CotF) project team, an MOE Educational Technology Division and Information Technology Division innovation incubator, in the development of ProjecTask.
In collaboration with the Curriculum Policy Office, this initiative aims to enhance project-based learning by supporting student self-directedness and improving project management for teachers and students alike.
CotF leverages design thinking and human-centric methodologies to redesign teaching and learning experiences, ensuring they remain relevant to both current and future educational needs.
ProjecTask aligns with this vision by providing clear visualizations, a pedagogical framework, and feedback features that facilitate an iterative learning process.
At the "SLS & CotF: Empowering Schools for EdTech Master Plan 2030" session on 12 Nov 2024, our school shared insights on our implementation of ProjecTask.
We are excited to continue working alongside CotF and MOE in shaping future-ready learning experiences for students and educators.
Our C&T Teacher sharing (Our rationale for using ProjecTask, the considerations and experience with customising the tool, and the implementation strategies, challenges, and solutions encountered) at the SLS & CotF: Empowering Schools for EdTech Masterplan 2020 Session.
