Springfield Taekwondo (TKD) Co-Curricular Activity (CCA)
Springfield’s Taekwondo CCA continues to nurture students’ passion and potential through rigorous training, competitions, leadership development, and community involvement. The 2024 National School Games season was a shining example of our students’ unwavering commitment and discipline.
From the outset, the team demonstrated perseverance and dedication. Many students trained tirelessly, even using the final moments before competition to sharpen their techniques and perfect their stances. Rather than shying away from challenges, they confronted their weaknesses head-on, striving for continuous improvement.
Their hard work paid off with outstanding performances for both Poomsae and Kyorugi. In the team events, participants showcased strong synchronisation and unity, while sparring competitors demonstrated remarkable resilience, rising to their feet even when faced with formidable opponents.
The results speak for themselves: the B Division girls secured an impressive 2nd place overall, and the boys’ team achieved a commendable 3rd place finish. These achievements reflect the spirit and strength of Springfield TKD—defined by relentless effort, discipline, and the courage to push beyond limits.
We are immensely proud of our 2024 team for their determination, resilience, and team spirit. We look forward to seeing what Springfield Taekwondo will achieve in 2025!
