Hydroponics Installation and Vegetable Cultivation
Exploring propagation techniques: planting and stem cutting of herbs
The Eco STEM Club had an impactful year in 2024, focusing on tangible, innovative projects that fused science with environmental sustainability.
The club was all about hands-on engineering, successfully tackling fun yet challenging design tasks. Members learned about material science by building a roller coaster using only paper and showcasing structural design by constructing a chair entirely from cardboard.
We also focused on green innovation. We cultivated a thriving herb garden by learning techniques like planting and stem cutting. Taking our sustainability efforts further, members successfully installed and grew vegetables in a hydroponics farm, demonstrating efficient, modern farming methods.
Beyond our projects, the club actively promoted our passion at the CCA Open House. The Eco STEM Club effectively showed that blending STEM with eco-consciousness is key to smart, sustainable problem-solving for the future.
