Racial Harmony Day

Racial Harmony Day 2024 at Springfield Secondary School celebrated our nation’s rich diversity and the importance of understanding and respect among different races and cultures. That year’s theme, "Singapore: Our Multicultural Mosaic," highlighted how each culture added vibrancy to our shared identity. Held on 21 July, the day reminded us of the 1964 racial riots and the need to foster unity and harmony. At Springfield, students enjoyed cultural performances, traditional food tastings, and sharing sessions to appreciate Singapore’s multicultural heritage. Together, we embraced our differences and strengthened the spirit of respect and empathy as one united community.
