Sec 3 MOE - OBS Challenge

Our Secondary 3 students recently embarked on an unforgettable 4-day, 3-night MOE-Outward Bound School Challenge (MOC) - a rigorous outdoor experiential learning programme designed to build resilience, ruggedness, and holistic development.

Throughout the challenge, students had the unique opportunity to interact with peers from Yusof Ishak Secondary and National Junior College, forging meaningful friendships while pushing their mental and physical limits. They navigated the open sea by kayaking and sailing, trekked across rugged terrain with heavy packs, conquered high rope courses, and camped outdoors in tents - all while braving unpredictable weather and enduring long hours of activity.

Despite returning exhausted, Springfielders wore beaming smiles, having formed lasting memories and newfound friendships. More importantly, many overcame personal fears and broke past self-imposed limits. This transformative experience has undoubtedly strengthened their confidence, independence, and resilience - lessons that will stay with them for life!
