All Pupils

Strike Days - Wednesday 5 July 2023 & Friday 7 July 2023

All pupils in Years 7 - 10 should remain at home on both the strike days; Wednesday 5 & Friday 7 July 2023. They will receive live lessons from non-striking teachers. There will be no lesson if their teacher is striking. No buses will be running on these two days.

Chicago Rehearsal
Any pupils who have been asked to attend the Chicago Rehearsal on Friday 7 July 2023, will need to make their own way to/from the college as there are no school bus services running on this day. Please also bring a packed lunch and drink, as there will only be snacks available to buy during lunchtime.

Toilet Facilities & Water Bottles

Pupils can go to the toilet, or fill their drinks bottles, within the 4 minutes (5 in extremely hot weather) allocated to get from one lesson to another. In addition, pupils are, of course, able to go at the beginning and end of the day, at break and at lunchtime. There are toilets in most blocks (S, W, A, M & R) as well as 10 new toilets in the newly built block next to the tennis courts, so pupils should be able to visit between lessons and still get to their lesson on time. 

Transport Eligibility & Application

If you believe your child is eligible for help with transport and you have not yet applied, please read the attached letter from Hampshire School Transport: 

https://www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/schooltransport/parent-carer The deadline for new applications is 31 July 2023. Any applications after this date will be considered, however, places may not be available.

Year 10

Please see attached information on work experience which should be shared with your child. Work Experience placements are due to take place from Monday 17 - Friday 21 July 2023. Pupils who are not undertaking a work placement will be in college that week; further information on what they will be doing will be shared with you shortly.

Year 11

If you have previously been contacted by email as we hold medication for your child in college, please could you arrange to come and collect it from Visitor Reception as soon as possible. This will need to be signed for by a parent/carer.

Year 7
