Pupil Absence/Appointments
Please contact us before 8.30 am on each day of absence/appointments. Absence is a safeguarding concern. Lack of notification results in a text alert querying why your child is absent. You can phone on 01489 892256, choosing Option 1, or use the relevant email address below. Please also use these emails to report any early collections / late arrivals due to appointments:

End of Term

Reminder that on the last day of term, Friday 21 July 2023, Swanmore College will finish at 12.40 pm. Our transport operators have been informed and will be on site to collect pupils.

Academic Reports 

Your child’s final report for this academic year has now been delivered electronically through the SIMs Parent App. All pupils in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 should have received these on SIMS yesterday, Monday 17 July 2023. Skoolkit

Attached is a copy of the 2023 price list from Skoolkit, with a free online delivery code for you to use from Saturday 22 July 2023 – Saturday 29 July 2023.  

Calculators

We are delighted to inform you we now have Casio Scientific fx-85GT-CW calculators available to purchase on Scopay at £11.00 each. Alternatively, you can buy these with cash/cheque from the Finance office.

Vaping
Please find a link below to a letter that Simon Bryant, the Director of Public Health, has written to parents/carers in response to the growing concerns about vaping in young people. It contains some information about vapes/e-cigarettes, advice for parents and carers and helpful resources that parents and carers can use to protect and support their children from the harms of vaping. Hampshire Youth Choirs

Do your children love to sing and perform? Hampshire County Youth Choirs are looking for new members. On Friday 15 September 2023 we are opening our doors and giving prospective members the chance to sing alongside the current members of the Junior, Training and Youth Choirs at the United Church, Jewry Street, Winchester, SO23 8RZ. The evening will run as follows:

5.30 pm - Y7 to Y13
6.00 pm - Y2 to Y6 Juniors
7.30 pm - Showing to parents/carers for all participants

Bikeability

Several Bikeability sessions are being run over the summer holidays for children who missed out on Level 2 at Primary School or would like to do their Level 3.
