Pupil Absence/Appointments
Please contact us before 8.30 am on each day of absence/appointments. Absence is a safeguarding concern. Lack of notification results in a text alert querying why your child is absent. You can phone on 01489 892256, choosing Option 1, or use the relevant email address below. Please also use these emails to report any early collections / late arrivals due to appointments:

End of Term

Reminder that Swanmore College will finish at 12.40 pm tomorrow for the end of term. Our transport operators have been informed and will be on site to collect pupils.

Open Evening

Please find attached details of our Open Evening which will take place on Thursday 14 September 2023 from 5.30 pm – 8.30 pm.

Timetables 2023-2024

Pupil timetables are issued as a paper copy to all pupils on their first day of term. These are subject to change throughout the summer holidays as we finalise pupil sets. Any timetable on SIMs/Google Classroom is subject to change until the first day of next term.

Pupil Bus Passes

Passes for Autumn 2023 will be available to purchase from 1 August 2023. The cost of a termly pass is £295 (which is approximately £4.50 per day).

There are no single day fares, weekly passes or one way passes available due to monitoring passengers travelling.

How to buy a pass

To buy a pass, we will need the following:

• Pupil name

• Boarding point

• Current head and shoulders passport style photograph (this must be a new, recognisable picture without filters or poses)

Please email the photograph to schools@portsmouthcitycoaches.co.uk with the pupil’s Full Name as the subject.

Payments can be made by card over the phone on 01243 378337 (office hours only) or by bank transfer:

The cut off for buying passes is Friday 1 September 2023 and we will be operating a strict ‘No pass, No Travel' policy.
