To provide a sanctuary for wellness by creating peaceful shared experiences in the sacred waters of Manitou Springs.
This handbook is where we share what makes SunWater Spa special, from our culture to our processes. If you ever feel lost, you can always navigate back here to refresh your memory. This handbook gives us a chance to clarify who we are as a company, how we value our employees, and how we value each other. This is a dynamic document, so we ask that you help us keep it up-to-date by letting us know when things don't make sense, or need further clarification.
We consider everyone who works at SunWater Spa as part of our extended family and we care about you, whether you stay for a few days, or a few years (or more). Our guests see each and every one of us as SunWater Spa. You are the most important part of who we are. How you interact with customers, and with each other, defines who we are. Really.
This means that customer and staff experience is everyone's responsibility. Consider this when you interact with customers, talk about your job with your friends and family, or post things on your personal social media accounts. Our wish is that you help tell our story and convey the peaceful, healing environment we create together. We are all part of the intention to create this feeling and hope you help us maintain the essence of this sanctuary. If you have a day where you don't feel all that wonderful, come talk to us, talk to your manager, work it out with your co-workers. Make the effort to keep the energetic space between co-workers clean. Use the Yamas as your guide with how we treat each other (and the spa) with respect so that everyone loves working here. We want you to love working here.
