SunWater Spa strives to ensure a safe, healthful workplace for all its employees.
Management is accountable for preventing workplace incidents, injuries, and illnesses and will
provide top-level support of safety program initiatives
consider all employee suggestions for achieving a safer, healthier workplace
will keep informed about workplace safety and health hazards
supervise and train workers in safe work practices
enforce company safety rules and work to eliminate hazardous conditions, and
lead safety efforts by example.
All employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including the following:
reporting hazards, unsafe work practices, and accidents immediately to their manager or lead
wearing required personal protective equipment;
and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.
Safety Data Sheets
It is your responsibility to review the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the department(s) you work in. The Safety Data Sheets contain valuable information about specific chemical substances, disinfectants, cleaning products, and how to safely handle them. You agree to use the products in accordance with the applicable safety data sheets.
Safety Data Sheets are located in the Basecamp SunWater All Staff Docs & Files - Health and Safety Information Folder which includes each departmental list of products. You shall assume all risk and liability for the use, handling, storage, and transportation of the products and agree to hold SunWater Spa harmless from all liability arising out of or related to, directly or indirectly, the use, storage, or handling of the product(s) regardless of whether they are used in combination with other substances.
