General Communication
Use Basecamp, in-person, or radio. For urgent offsite matters, use text or phone.
Staff Guidelines
Direct questions or concerns to your department manager.
If uncomfortable, speak with another manager or the Spa Director.
If unavailable, relay information to a lead or assistant manager.
Manager Guidelines
Communicate decisions or approvals with the relevant department manager.
Ensure cross-department updates are shared promptly.
Owner Communication
Contact owners through the Spa Director or, if unavailable, via a manager.
If an owner makes a direct request, acknowledge it and inform the Spa Director.
Basecamp Usage
Teams should include relevant staff and at least one manager.
Pings: Private messages between selected individuals.
Campfire: Non-work-related or general discussions.
Message Board: Information sharing without action items.
To-Dos: Assign only necessary staff, include completion notes.
Schedule: Meetings and date-related activities.
Docs & Files: Store and link important documents.
Check Basecamp at shift start and end for updates.
Email & Text
Email is for external contacts and can be forwarded or added to Basecamp.
Use text or phone for urgent offsite communications.
Pings in Basecamp can serve as an alternative if notifications are enabled.
