In support of a positive and healthy workplace, SunWater Spa strives to support you in your wellbeing. This benefit is offered to all employees and their family members.
Eligibility begins on the first of the month one month after hire date.
SunWater Spa offers Direct Primary Care (DPC) Services paid 100% by the company for salaried employees. All hourly employees may opt in but will pay 100% of the monthly fee through payroll deduction. DPC is not a recognized medical care expense under section 213(d) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Soaking, Spa Services, and Retail for SunWater Employees
40% discount on retail purchases
Free yoga classes for all employees through Yoga Home.
20% discount on therapies (please call or contact reception to book)
20% discount on therapies (up to three per year) for employee guests.
SunWater Spa employees receive 50% off Smokebrush events and 50% off Smokebrush yoga classes
Free soaking for employees and up to three guests in a manager-designated tub (if available).
Employees need to be with their guests upon arrival and accompany them for the entire Soak to be free.
Please confirm the date and time with the Guest Services Manager for approval before soaking.
If another tub is available at the time of your soak, you may move your group to the open tub upon manager approval.
Note that you may be bumped from your tub if there is a customer service need for your tub, however, you may continue to enjoy the saline pools.
Please let the Guest Services Manager know asap if you need to cancel.
Only one employee soak per wave unless approved by a manager.

Assessments and Pay

Assessments will be conducted in August of each year and will consist of 4 easy questions sent to you by email from BambooHR. Your manager will get four questions to answer about you as well. These questions need to be answered by the end of the month and will be used in part to determine your possible pay increase on your anniversary date. Your manager will meet with you and go over your performance and any questions you may have at your anniversary date or sooner if requested. We review our wage ranges and compare to industry averages each October. We also send out employee satisfaction survey's on a quarterly basis.
Work-Related Counseling
We are pleased to offer individual coaching for work-related issues that may come up as you navigate our workplace. If you come across an issue in the workplace in which you need support, please reach out to your manager or the Spa Director. If for any reason this is not effective for you or if you would prefer to speak to an outside party, please make an appointment with Holly Parker using the link below.
This coaching is put in place to provide a safe place to become equipped and empowered to form and execute a resolution through a process of being heard and understood, then clarifying/articulating a communication/resolution plan, and following up with a moment of evaluation. All in service of being an effective team member in a unified culture of good communication.
This service is provided at no charge to you and all communication will be confidential. If you make an appointment, please make sure to show up as no-shows will be charged to the company.
