Sgraffito

The main idea that guided my artwork was making a naturey flowy feeling piece that overall felt very fairy flower life without being too overwhelming. I used green underglaze because I felt like it added more of a nature feel than black would. I used clay and clay tools to make this project. It was my first time ever doing sgraffito, and personally I HATED the texture and the way it felt but I tried my best to at least make something decent. At first , my design was honestly pretty boring so I added more flowers and curves and swirls so it was less bland.
