Colored Candy

For my candy still life I started by arranging candy on a table and the photographing it. After printing my photo I started by drawing with graphite some rough sketches of each candy on my printmaking. After I by filling in space with colored pencils and added shadow with black and grey colored pencils. I tried to make this as realistic as possible with the materials I used. My cast of light would have been at the top of the paper off centered to the left to created those shadows. To create the wrapper i tried overlaying darker shades of the colored pencil for the twists and turns and dents of the paper or plastic.
