In this assignment you can see that I had the word "Rat" to do for my word graphic design. You can see that the head of the rat is in the shape of an "R".
Since the design is supposed to represent a logo, I made sure I had to choose a material that was bold. Therefore choosing sharpies as my material. I used a red and black sharpie.
In my project, I used line as well as shape to create emphasis. in my piece of artwork. Shape is being shown when I had to create the rat in the letter "R" and line is drawing the eye to the details in a bold, simple way. Emphasis is being used when I incorporated the red lines with the original black line to make it more visually interesting. I had originally put the rat within the letter "A" but changed it to the letter "R" instead because I thought it would look more interesting and original. I don't think I would want to change it much, except for making the "R" look more like an "R".
