Wire Sculpture

The main idea that guided my artwork was the prompt given to me in class and that was to create a wire sculpture off of something I would observe in real life as opposed to creating a piece off of a photograph reference. To create this piece I used wire, wire cutters and pliers and I used the fishhook technique to attach all the individual sections together. To add detail I also used thin copper wire for it as opposed to the black thicker gauge wire. Eventually I figure out how to do the fishook loops effectively to make the tower somewhat stable and it all took practice. I practiced and changed my method to make it work.
