Realistic Self-Portrait

The ideas that are visually evident in my work are that I used the square by square method that were supposed to use for this piece. This project relates to my life because it is the first portrait that i've done that looks similar to me. I used the gridding technique for this piece, a view finder, a picture of me, and exclusively graphite to complete this. I used mainly value for this piece because I practiced with shading and making things dark/light and I actually really enjoyed it. My next steps could be creating a new one using maybe charcoal or one with color or using a different picture.
