Surrealism Collage

For this project, I had to create a collage that I used as a template to create a piece of art using paint.

The materials used were graphite and acrylic on canvas

On this project I started by finding some interesting magazines in a pile of them, from there I found images in them and ripped the images out and or cut them out using scissors. After that, I glued the images onto a piece of paper using wet glue. Finally, I went in and bordered off the canvas and painted inside the bordered and shrunk down the collage and simplified it a lot.
