Colored Fish
4.5"x 2.5"
graphite, ink, marker
In this project, I created a sketch of a fish on a piece of scratch paper, then I did it on the nice paper and colored it.
The materials I used were graphite, ink, and marker on drawing paper.
For my final project I decided to go simply but also pull in a few other ideas I used in my past artwork. I started by creating a mole design of the fish I wanted to draw in my camera roll. after that, I drew it in graphite on the real paper to create the real artwork. Then, I traced over my graphite drawing with pen and colored in the pattern I had drawn on with the graphite.
This may be a simple art piece, but I decided to do that due to time, and I wanted to say that this art class has taught me a lot, and now I know what materials I'm comfortable with.
