Stars and Stripes

In this artwork, I started by getting criteria which were the art piece had to have red white blue and black as a color pallet, and it had to have stairs and stripes. Then I found ideas and choose one to do.

The materials I used were Graphite, ink pen, gel pen, and ink marker on Bristol board.

I started by getting the criteria I have previously stated, then I started to find some ideas in my sketch books. After that, I choose an idea I liked and started to sketch it out on of the material I would like to make the final copy. Once I had got the sketch lined out, I when beck in to add the black pen to make the lines more vivid. Then I choose where I would like the color and added that with an almost balance to it. Finally, I cleaned up some lines and added the small about of white gel pen to the center line.
