Our vision is for all children and young people to achieve their full potential. Virtual Support is a small multi-disciplinary team, created to deliver an intensive service supporting children and young people who find difficulty in accessing the day to day demands of school life.

Virtual Support is not an actual physical school, it can be accessed through the invited individuals Glow portal - any children and young people linked with Virtual Support continue to remain the responsibility of St. Andrew's and St Bride's High School. Virtual Support allows us robust planning, monitoring and tracking of achievements and supports are in place, for care experienced children and for any pupil who may require the support that it ensures.

Virtual Support works in collaboration with young people, their families and a variety of staff including teachers, support for learning, pathfinders, pupil support and the senior leadership within St Andrew's and St Bride's High School.

Virtual Support covers  key areas of the curriculum  from level 3 upwards.

We offer support in Numeracy, Literacy, Health and Wellbeing as well as the discreet sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. We have built materials to aid our pupils in accessing wider achievement in areas such as employability, personal development and volunteering.

Mental Health is something we have placed front and central in Virtual Support and we aim to support the children who require additional help in this are through various online lessons, activities and guided meditations. We hope this will ensure that they have a calm and stable platform to allow them to achieve and attain to their full potential.
