Mr Zhaoan Ye (2021 - ), Causal perception and representation of autonomous systems.
Zhaoan graduated from Shanghai Maritime University with a Bachelor in Electronic Information Engineering. He obtained the Master degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of Glasgow in 2021 with the MSc project entiled Control for Safe and Trustworthy Autonomous Vehicle based on Model Predictive Control. He is currently focusing on learning-based model with safe learning and trying to combine the model with the control system.
Mr Qikun Chen (2022 - ), Causal discovery and reasoning of autonomous systems.
Qikun graduated from the University of Sheffield with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He got a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glasgow in 2021 with the graduate project of designing a generic algorithm based route planner for autonomous logistics and distribution. He is now working on decision making in the adversarial environment, autonomous robots and causal learning.
Mr. Yansong Jiang (2022 - ) Explainable perception of autonomous vehicles.
Yansong Jiang graduated from Northeast Petroleum University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree. He also worked as an equipment engineer in the lubricants division of Sinopec. In 2021, he received his MSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow. His current research interests are event cameras and anti-overconfidence of machine learning in autonomous vehicles.
Mr Xiao Yi (2022 - ), Safe decision making of autonomous vehicles.
Xiao is a PhD student majoring in autonomous driving. He completed his undergraduate degree in Automotive Service Engineering at Tongji University in 2019 and got the MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering at University if Glasgow in 2021. His current work is focused on intelligent driving of vehicles.
Mr Xidong Yan (2022 - ), Large language model based robotic control.
Xidong graduated from the Nanjing University of Science and technology with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He got a master’s degree in Mechatronics at the University of Glasgow in 2021 with the graduate project of coordination and control of multiple planetary rovers. He is now working on causal inference and prediction in the autonomous systems.
Mr Xingyu Tao (2023 - ), Event triggered cameras and decision making for autonomous systems.
Xingyu graduated from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree major in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He got a master’s degree in City University of Hong Kong major in Electronic Information Engineering. He used to work in an autonomous driving company in China as automation engineer. Now he is focusing on Event triggered cameras and decision making.
Mr Qinglin Bi (2023 - ), Visual language models and visual understanding in robotic control.
Qinglin graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University and the University of Wollongong with a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering. He obtained a master's degree in Robotics & AI at the University of Glasgow in 2023 with a graduate project on a Human-machine collaboration system based on large language models. He is now working on robotics control via large language models and visual language models.
Mr Jingzhi Ruan (2024 - ), Large language model based robotic perception.
Jingzhi graduated from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in Automation. He got a master’s degree in Robotics and AI at the University of Glasgow in 2023 with the graduate project of LIPTOR - AI and Machine Vision-based Litter Picking Autonomous Robot. He is currently focused on research in robotic and autonomous vehicle perception based on large models.
Mr Zixuan Huang (2024 - ), Decision making of unmanned vehicles based on digital twins
Zixuan graduated from Chang'an University with a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics. In 2022, he received a MSc degree in Smart, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles from the University of Warwick, where his graduation project was a study on the fidelity of rainfall simulation. He is now exploring the decision making of autonomous vehicles based on digital twins.
Mr Boyu Chen (2024 - ), End-to-end autonomous driving with scene understanding
Boyu graduated from the Macau University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. He obtained a master's degree in Software Engineering at the University of Southampton. His research interests focus on end-to-end models for decision-making in autonomous vehicles.
