Welcome to Dezong's home! I am a Professor of Autonomous Systems at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow. I am also a Royal Academy Engineering / Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow since 2025, a Turing Fellow since 2024, a Royal Society-Newton Advanced Fellow since 2020, and an EPSRC Innovation Fellow since 2018. I am interested in exploring the frontiers in control engineering, embodied AI, causal learning, autonomous vehicles, robotics and digital twins.
