7. Membership

There appears to be no record of the yearly membership of the Society up to around 1970. However, by dividing the total subscription received each year by the annual subscription it would appear that the membership stood around the 50/60 mark. The appointment of two YPA representatives in 1965 would suggest that the membership was over 100.

During the 1970’s the annual membership is recorded in the AGM minutes with an average of 111 per year. The membership for the early 21st Century remained just above the 100.
