17. The York Philatelic Society Tie

In 1969 the Society designed and produced a tie. The motif was the Maltese Cross [1] cancellation used at York, the colour of the tie was maroon, 20 were ordered. No cost was recorded against this order.

Even to this day members have, occasionally been spotted adorning this must-have fashion item.
