Code of Conduct

IntroductionWhat might be some of the rules that you might use to teach someone how to be honest?

Have the students write down at least five ideas.

Lesson

Together draw up a class 'Code of Honest Conduct' 

(Here are 3 examples. It's important to make up your own class one and recite it together regularly.)

1. I won't steal

2. I won't cheat

3. I'll do what's right, even if no-one is watching

Optional

Make up an action to go with each rule.

Competition

Have each student write (or type) out the Code of Conduct and decorate it. 

You could make it a competition and enlarge, laminate or scan the best to make a class poster.

Alternatively the pupils could make a slide show presenting their code's rules.

Challenge

Read your code of conduct every morning. Try hard to keep it. Note any areas where you struggle and work on them.
