תחזוקה והתחדשות יער ירושלים - מה אנחנו עושים ? صيانة وتجديد الغابة، ماذا نفعل ?

In school year 2016-2017, we maintain and regenerate the forest

with pupils from the following schools: Ziv, Ibn Rushd ابن رشد and Gymnasia Rehavia.

דילול تقليص. Thinning out the forest

כשעצי היער גדלים בצפיפות, אור השמש אינו מגיע אל הענפים הנמוכים והם מתייבשים ומתנוונים. במקום מספר קטן של עצים בריאים וחסונים צומח מספר רב של עצים דקים ומנוונים.

عندما تكون أشجار الغابة كثيفة جدا لا يصل ضوء الشمس والاغصان المنخفضة تجف وتضعف بدلا من أن يكون لدينا عدد قليل من الاشجار القوية وخالية من الامراض ينبت عدد من الاشجار الضعيفة.

When the forest is too dense light does not infiltrate and the lower branches of the trees decay. Instead of small number of healthy and hardy trees there are large numbers of emaciated trees.

פינוי גזם יבש اخلاء الفروع المقلمة/ الناشفة

לאחר שצוות יערנים של קרן קיימת לישראל מסיים את דילול היער נשארים בשטח ענפים רבים שמתייבשים ומהווים חומר דליק.

بعد أن ينتهي المشتغلون بالغابة من قبل دائرة اسرائيل من تقليص الغابة يتبقى الكثير من الاغصان اليابسة التي تكون مادة قابلة للاشتعال وقت الحريق

התלמידים מפנים את הגזם מהטרסות ועורמים אותו בערימות בקרחת ביער וכך מקטינים את הסכנה להתפשטות השריפות.

يخلي الطلاب الاغصان المقلمة من السنسلة الى اكوام ووضعها في مناطق خالية.

פינוי הגזם מהטרסות חושף את הקרקע ומאפשר לנו לשתול עצים.

تفريغ الفروع المقلمة من السناسل، يكشف ويسمح لنا بزارعة الاشجار.

Removal of dry branches

After a team of foresters thin out the forest there remain a lot of branches which dry up and are combustible material which can help spread forest fires. We remove the branches to a forest clearing.

Removal of the cuttings from the terraces uncovers the ground and enables us to plant trees.

בקיץ היבש, שורשי התאנה יונקים את הלחות שהצטברה מאחורי קיר הטרסה.

نغرس أغراس التين على سفوح السناسل، بالصيف الجاف تمتص جذور شجرة التين الرطوبة التي تتجمع داخل السناسل.

Planting

We plant fig trees at the foot of the terrace wall.

In the dry summer, the roots of the fig mammals suck up moisture that has accumulated behind the terrace wall.

ننثر دلوا من الزبل العضوي لتهوئة الارض ولتزويد مواد وطعام للشجرة

compost

We mix a bucket of compost in the soil.

The compost aerates the soil and provides nutrients to the tree.

דשן السماد الكيماوي

ننثر القليل من السماد الكيماوي الذي يزود معادن، بوتاس، نيتروجين والفسفور

אנחנו מפזרים קצת דשן המספק מינרלים: אשלגן , חנקן , זרחן

Fertilizer - We put a small quantity of fertilizer into the soil.

The fertilizer provides minerals to the tree: Potassium, Nitrogen , Phosphorus.
