o Organised Joint singing performance with the blind school students and old age people during January 2015. UCC - Retired faculties, 9 Service – learning teachers, College chaplain, SCF students, College choir members, management staff and students of blind school participated in theprogram

o Organised field oriented herbal plant study - 22nd August, 2016. Blind students were taken to a medicinal garden of Kerala Ayurveda Limited, where Scientists Dr. Sarala Samuel (Senior Scientist and Research and Development wing Manager), Dr. K.I. Mani Varghese (Retd. Professor UCC) and 3 Junior scientists introduced various medicinal plants to the students.

o Organised joined Onam celebrations with NSS students UCC and Blind students. (Onasadhya - Traditional food and Pookkalam – (Traditional flower arrangement) (2015, 2016)

o Organised Development and maintenance of the multi purpose play ground for the Blind- with the participation of NSS UCC students from 2015onwards.

o Fruit tree plantation for the blind started September 2016.

o Developed a green house for installing Herbal Garden developed : Inaugurated by Keven Henderson January, 2016.

o Organised “How to help a blind” program was for the National Cadet Crops- Girls wing of UCC Unit at The School for the Blind. (2015, 2016).

Tiruchirapalli on November 7, 1888, he was the first Asian and first non-White to receive any Nobel Prize in the sciences. Raman also worked
