Andreas Shiraz 2008

Deep red in colour with a pinkish rim. This surprising find is one of the most interesting tasting wines I've had in a while. Rich smells of fruit, chocolate andeven liquorice on the nose. This is continued very well is the taste, with concentrated flavours of cherry, liquorice and caramel. Though I really didn't think liquorice will be a complimentary taste to wine, this works very well! Moderately tannic.
